About the site

As an open-air event held in fields and woodland, there are some limitations on site brought up by the land.

In wet and muddy weather it might be the case that some people have problems with wheelchairs (particularly powered chairs, which can have access to charge over the event). We will of course do our best to keep everyone moving, but please do be aware that this is an open air event in a grassy field and we cannot guarantee the ground conditions. All the camping pitches and central area of the campsite are on flat and relatively level land.

Please bear in mind that though that the land is in essence a meadow and so we unfortunately cannot guarantee how flat or dry it will be. The Enchanted Woods has areas of rougher ground amongst the trees, which may cause difficulties for some chairs and scooters even in good weather, and the path has a gravel surface, which can be difficult for wheelchair users to navigate.

Camp Kin does have some wheelbarrows to help move gear from the parking areas, these must be returned once you’re done to allow others to use them. There will be access to disabled toilets and showers on site. Please get in touch if you require a disabled toilet on your pre-pitched spot.
